Valeria Chenchevaya grew up on a farm in rural Ukraine. She spent most of her childhood tilling soil and harvesting wheat on her parents’ farm. Isolated and lacking traditional forms of recreation, she started humming single-note tunes to herself and twirling whatever she could find to kill time.

She started to get experimental with her twirling as she grew. Implementing shovels, hoes and other large gardening tools, Valeria Chenchevaya started to get bored with the threat of steel and rust, and decided she needed to up the ante. Using a broken broom handle and used oil rags that she stole from her father’s barn, Valeria ignited the cloths and watched as her formations came to life in the night sky. Fire twirling became a nightly activity for her, alongside her love for singing.

Both these talents came to fruition during a woofing trip to Germany. Her first time in another country, Valeria Chenchevaya was embracing the things she had come to know so well: singing, fire-twirling and farming. But one night, her host found her practicing her two favorite talents in the manner she had become so accustomed to: late at night, in a field all by herself. The man was so taken by her talent, that he insisted she leave the farm the next day, drove her to the Munich train station and told her that her talents could take Valeria Chenchevaya anywhere she wanted.

Well, Valeria Chenchevaya’s talents went farther than she had ever expected. After a successful stint on the streets of Paris, she started investing all of her hard-earned cash on plane tickets, starting with another successful venture in Dublin and leading to a yearning for travel that took her across the globe.

Starting with covering all major metropolitan cities in Western Europe, Valeria Chenchevaya then ventured to the Americas, where she gained her popularity In New York and ventured on to several major cities up north, before heading south and going “off the map” for a six-month furlough in Bariloche, Argentina.

Valeria Chenchevaya then continued on to Asia, where she found her skills to not carry as much value. It didn’t matter to her though, after her time in South America she had learned the benefits of solely traveling for leisure and decided she would embrace a cheap cost of living by living minimally and doing lots of exploring in Thailand, China, Vietnam, The Philippines and Japan.

Now back for another round, Valeria Chenchevaya is ready to again show the world what she’s got.
