Hood Tech has introduced an upgrade kit for its Mark 4 launcher, increasing the load it can launch, to higher speeds, with gentler acceleration. The upgrade kit underwent extensive testing prior to recent use: (http://blog.executivebiz.com/2014/06/ryan-hartman-boeings-insitu-subsidiary-adding-weight-for-integrator-uas-variant/)  Retrofitted to an existing Mark 4 launcher, the upgrade kit maintains the launcher’s small footprint. The improved launch capability enables expansion of the payload capacity of the RQ-21A aircraft, without increasing launch loads.
