For example, "I hate this job." Turn that into, "Although I don't love this job, I am thankful I have a job in this economy." Thinking positively instead of negatively helps you stop focusing on the negative and achieve results in all facets of your life.

If you can see yourself succeeding, you are more apt to succeed. If you can imagine yourself performing a task well, then imagine yourself celebrating your success. You will have less performance anxiety, and the overall will help you reach your goals.
