Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced 4 April and 10-11 April 2015 as official dates when aspirants of engineering will write JEE Mains 2015 exam. However, on 4th offline exam (and B.Arch) will be written and on 10 and 11 April 2015, exam in online mode will be written. Exam will be conducted at All India Level and candidates will write it to receive admission into undergraduate Engineering and Architecture courses, like B.Tech, B.E and B.Arch, in colleges across nation.

JEE Mains will be of 3 hours candidates will have to solve 90 multiple choice questions of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, within this duration. Extra time will be allotted to candidates with 40% (or more) disability. Questions will mostly cover syllabus of class XI and XII. Candidates who will mark correct options, will be awarded 1 marks for each correct answer, whereas, when wrong answer will be marked, candidates will lose 1, as per negative marking.
Application procedure for JEE Mains, has been concluded. Candidates cannot submit their application request now. Candidates were supposed to submit forms online only. However, fee can be paid online, as well as offline. Last date to submit both was 26 December 2015.
Forms of only eligible candidates has been accepted and admission will also be granted only to those, who will fulfill the eligibility criteria completely. Laid down eligibility criteria is that:
Candidates must have been born after 1 October 1990.
Candidates must have cleared 10+2 in either 2013 or 2014. Candidates who will write their exams this year may also apply.
Qualifying exam must have been passed from a recognized board, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects.
Each candidates will receive three attempts to crack the exam. These attempts must be constitutive, after passing 10+2.
Candidates will be able to download JEE Mains admit card, from 1 March 2015 onward. It will be released on the official website and only those candidates will be able to download it who would have submitted their form in time and in due format. It is an important document, and will serve as an identification prove. Candidates must carry it on the exam day and along it must also carry an extra ID proof, which should have candidates photograph and signature. If candidates fail to produce these all, they will be disqualified from admission procedure.
On the day of exam, candidates must reach exam center an hour before the due time period. Those who will reach late will not be allowed to write the exam. No extra material should be carried by candidates, otherwise authority at exam center will not allow it.
Candidates will be able to check their JEE Mains result. It will also be issued in the official website (http://jeemain.nic.in/). Due date for its announcement is 27 April 2015. However, before it, on 18 April 2015, CBSE will issue official answer key. With the help of answer key, candidates will be able to predict their scores. It is suggested that result predicted via answer key should not be considered as final verdict. Candidates will be called for counseling, as per their All India Rank, which will be issued later.
