All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT), is a national level exam, which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The motive of conducting this exam is to select candidates for intake into various medical colleges, in undergraduate courses like MBBS and BDS. Medical colleges in each state, except in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir, will fill 15% of total medical seats through this exam. This year, exam will be held on 3 May 2015 and qualifiers will be granted admission into session 2015-16.

Aspirants will write exam in offline mode only. They will be allotted 3 hours to finish the exam. Candidates will have to solve 180 MCQ’s, which will cover topics from Physics, Chemistry and Biology esp. of class XI and XII. No extra time will be allotted to any candidate. Exam will be of 720 marks, in totality, i.e. for each correct answer 4 marks will be awarded to candidate. However, for marking wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted, as negative marking.

Candidates were supposed to submit AIPMT application form online only. Last date to submit form was 31 December 2015. However, those who missed this date, may submit application form, by paying late fee of Rs. 1200, before 31 January 2015.

To submit application form, properly, follow the steps below:

1.Access the official website,
2.Seek appropriate link to fill application form
3.Register online, by entering all the required information
4.Loing via freshly made id and password.
5.Fill each area of application form, with authentic information
6.Submit application form
7.Pay application fee.
8.Download confirmation page.

Candidates must remember to put authentic information in application form. If it is found at any stage that candidates tried to mislead authorities by providing incorrect information, they will be dismissed from admission procedure. Also, candidates are advised to secure copy of application form, for future reference.

Along application form, candidates will have to remit application fee as well. It can be remitted via online medium like Net Banking or Debit/ Credit Card or through offline medium, by generating challna. Application fee, along late fees, for general category candidates is Rs. 2400. However, the same for SC/ ST candidates is Rs. 1850. Last date to submit fee via online mode is 1 January 2015 but via offline mode, last date to submit the same is 2 February 2015.

Candidates who will be submit application form properly, will be able to download admit card, from the official website, from 1 April 2015. Candidates must carry it to exam center, on exam day. Candidate who will fail to produce it, will not be allowed to write the exam.

AIPMT 2015 result will be issued on 5 June 2015, on the official website. It will state candidates performance in the exam and state candidates marks in each section, as well. Candidates will be allowed to check result against roll number, name and date of birth. If candidates feel suspicious of issued result, they can check their OMR sheet, as it will also be uploaded online, and may challenge authorities.
