Hilary was honoured with the Creative Impact in Acting Award at the brunch that was presented by Montblanc at the Maidstone Hotel during the Hamptons International Film Festival.

She shared her passion for acting with the young rising stars honoured by Variety, including the likes of Zoe Kravitz and Dakota Johnson.
‘It’s truly an honour to be able to tell people stories in a couple of hours,’ Hilary said. ‘I became an actor because I love people.
‘It gives me an opportunity to stretch myself, but it makes my life richer because of it.’
She offered some advice: ‘I hope that you don’t ever feel afraid to fall on your face.’
Christie Brinkley and Mark Ruffalo were also pictured at the brunch, both dressed casually.
Hilary can next be seen in the drama, You’re Not You, out later this year – starring alongside Emmy Rossum, Josh Duhamel, and Ali Larter.
She plays Kate, a classical pianist who has been diagnosed with ALS (commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease).
Emmy stars as Bec, the brash college student who becomes her caregiver.
Hilary can also be seen in the western drama, The Homesman - set for limited release on November 14 – alongside Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones, and Hailee Steinfeld.
