The facelift: Here Tom Cruise celebrated an Oscar and Oprah Winfrey her 50th birthday. This hotel was opened in 1946 in Spanish Colonial style, located at the foothills of Santa Monica overlooking Beverly Hills. The renovation took two years and the price tag was 75 million euro – astonishing in a city with such a high concentration of Botox. Now the hotel has spa with seven treatments room. Luxury travel magazines are agog with praise for this very special spa. The garden is still impressive with flowers that look like they are on steroids.
The result: All guestrooms are dominated by champagne color and have Ipad. The restaurant is virtually located outdoors, with some areas protected from secret meeting. You will always find a bikini-beauty around the oval pool, with companions sipping a drink while therapists take care of those with stress symptoms.
Worth the money? Definitely! With prices for doubles from 380 euro, Bel-Air is the only place you are guaranteed a happy ending of your visit to Hollywood.
Luxury travel magazines say: The best hotel in Los Angeles, probably North America, and quite possibly the entire world. A marvel to any luxury traveller with an eye for detail! They didn't miss anything. My experience here is definitely going into my travel blog.
Travel news -: The food is incredible. Honestly, they do room service so well here, that I often prefer to dine in than go out to some of my favorite restaurant in LA.
Executive travel magazine -: The suite that they gave us had floor-to-ceiling glass doors the constituted two of the walls of the room that opened up onto a private porch with a dining area and in ground hot tub and a fireplace outside. Totally elegant, totally private!
Travel blog -: “I come here a lot to get away. I've met dignitaries, diplomats, hot housewives, rock stars, movie people, and ordinary rich people. All great talk”.
